How to Extend PSP Battery Life

There are simple things you can do to extend the runtime of the battery on your PSP.

Tests show that games played on PSP last on average 3 hours 30minutes. In WiFi test the battery died after 2 hours 46 minutes. As a MP3 player the PSP can last for more than 10 hours, and in sleep more, more than a day.

As you can see WiFi drains the power of your battery more so than games and sleep mode hardly consumes power, whilst listening to music on your PSP lasts longer than most MP3 players on the market.

So to extend the runtime of your battery:

1. Use WiFi only when needed, otherwise turn it off.

2. Play less games and use your PSP to listen to more music if that is what you prefer. (Although different games have different impact on battery life.)

3. Use sleep mode when possible.

4. Use the 1800mah battery.
